I have ben using FASTWAY Couriers, recently I have had parcels left without signatures 1 parcel went missing so I put in a claim, they do not cover the loss all they will allow is the sellers cost less GST, no refund for packaging (1.5m shipping tube $6) & no refund on shipping charge even though they lost it. Item cost me $77, sold for $96 Packing $8, Shipping fee from FASTWAY Sydney to Perth $24 total $128 Refund $70. I'm contacting fair trading, Police (where did my goods go?) & telling everyone I can to avoid using them.... Al's Tackleshop
Hi i have just sold my first item on ebay and the buyer has placed the money into my account. but i cannot see where there postage amount is, as its $5.00 short and thats the postage amount. the buyer has emailed me a payment slip showing the full amount but that just doesnt match what has been deposited into my account. does the postage cost sit somewhere else?
I do apologise for tying up posts on this much talked about issue, but I could not find an answer anywhere in this board for my problem.
I usually post light pieces of clothing in a tough bag and put 3 stamps on it. Apparently, this is regarded as a 'letter'.
Today I went to post some items over the counter so that I could obtain a receipt showing the destination postcode. The lady smirked and said 'this does not prove postage - it's 'just a letter''.
I explained that this 'letter' contained a garment worth $30. On my request, she relunctantly entered the postcode on the receipt, but still insisted that it will do no good for a claim.
Does anybody know anything about this? Is she right? Do postcoded receipts cover 'letters' in the even of a loss?
I bid on and won two canvas 'paintings' from a Chinese seller for $1.25AU each. The listing states that there is an insurance of $5 per canvas but no mention of the postage cost. When I went to pay for the items the postage cost has come up as $140.00 AU!! How do I refuse to pay for this without affecting my ebay rating? I have received items from all over the world some of them as large as a saddle and none have ever come to anywhere near that cost!! What do I do?
Hi, can someone please help me with how to change an invoice amount, as the buyer is o/s I quoted EMS postage, they requested normal post and would like an invoice sent for that amount, I can't seem to find a way to change this information - if it can be changed at all? any help greatly received, Many thanks.
Hi, I sold 4 four pairs of jeans - each pair went for 99c each, all with an individual postage & handling of $12 each. The postage would have been $ 48 I gave the buyer of all these items a discount which then made postage & handling $26. The buyer refuses to pay this amount requested. What do you suggest?
Hi. I sold a (almost brand new and still operational) Robosapien robot on ebay and when the buyer received it, they claimed it didn't work. I sold it for $110 plus $20 postage and have since refunded the $130 in total having received the robot back as requested. The buyer is now asking that I refund the $15 return postage as well. I don't think this is fair as the buyer has my word that it was working when I sent it AND I only have his that it was not working when he received it. I believe that I shouldn't have to pay the return postage, but would like to understand the policy (if there is one) with regard to this matter. Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to lose my 100% feedback rating over this.
I am fairly new to eBay and confused about combined postage since I never purchased more than one item before. I am planing to buy three items from a seller who kindly advised me that discounted postage will be AU$25 for all three.
All of these items are 'buy now' and I like to pay immediately after I purchase something so I don't have to think about it later. My question is - how do I buy all three items without paying the individual postage fee for each?
I paid for my purchase straight away using paypal - seller postage cost stated in listing was $12.40 Australia wide. The seller has sent me an email stating that the postage rate is now an additional $10.60 to be sent from NSW to Vic. The same item is re-listed with the same postage rate advertised as $12.40 - Australia Wide. What are my obligations to now have to pay extra - I am not happy as I have fulfilled my obligations as a buyer! But also, what are his obligations to have the right to ask for more money? Can someone please clarify!
I recently bought an item and paid the stated postage, but when I recieved the package the cost of the actual postage was less than I paid. I have emailed the seller, but have as yet had no response. What do I do?
I bought a friends box set which was sent registered post. The box was quite damaged when it arrived - only wrapped in bubble wrap and put in a parcelpost bag. Contacted seller and was told to contact post office. Is it up to me to resolve issue with post office or is it up to the seller? Thanks, sassooso
